Rowanthwaite is the magical wonder and story that inspired me as a child, mixed with the Holy Presence that has always walked beside me.-Julie

Dearest, this is the first chapter of our story β€¦πŸŒΏahemRowanthwaite wasn’t planned.she arrived quietly,a story unfolding from somewhere deeper than my mind.It all began with my one simple intention:to create a place called Sacred Grove, in the cottage where I live, surrounded by friendly trees and quiet in the Shropshire hills of England.I imagined offering spiritual sessions, ceremonies, and teachings,as I always had.

Quick RemediesFor a Quick Sip: Read the Gazette or open a Letter for a 5-minute lift. For a Deep Rest: Enter the Chapel or Storybook Cottage for a pause and quiet reflection. For Deep Change: Enroll in Soul School to learn the deeper Soul mysteries.

Yet something else began to emerge …A Soul Bookshop appeared first, whimsical, light, and magical.Next,Angels,Blessings, owls, guardian angels.Hidden doors revealed themselves.Behind one secret door,a Soul Library waited, ready to hold mystical teachings and future creations. Then, The Chapel formed, for deep healing.A Sacred Well.A Spiral Path.An ancient Rowan Tree laden with rich red berries.A Storybook Cottage that mirrors my own.A Village Hall for gatherings of good folk. And of course,Mr. Wise Owl, Keeper of Ancient Wisdom πŸ¦‰Piece by piece,Rowanthwaite built itself!A Village,a Sanctuary,a Living Story.🌿It mirrors my life more than I could ever have imagined. The beloved books of my childhood.Growing up near Hay-on-Wye, the famous β€˜Town of Books’.My mother’s work in Hay-on-Wye with Richard Booth, the intrepid creator of Hay-on-Wye’s own bookshop story.

The heart behind the hearth

My decades as an Interfaith Minister leading ceremonies and teachings, and my deep lifelong love and connection to the Earth, Soul, the Divine, and the Unseen. All lead me unknowingly to now, sharing the Rowanthwaite Story.Dearest, Rowanthwaite holds the sacred and the whimsical, the deep and the light.A sanctuary with deep, strong, roots, and a light wonder-filled heart.THE place where you can land, rest deeply, and remember who you are. This is the village that emerged through me,it found me,and now has found you!It is for those who are ready to step inside their own story. And that my new friend,is the first true story of how Rowanthwaite came to be.There are many paths to this story, for it is a woven path, and those are still to be told.In the meantime,be still for a few moments, breathe, take your time.Rowanthwaite is a place to wander,to come home to your true self.A sanctuary for your soul that you can visit from anywhere in the world and the comfort of your favourite armchair. There is much to read, and that is deliberate. It is a place to rest,to read,to re-imagine.To hear the voice of your Soul. There is no rush in Rowanthwaite, it’s a place,to … just … be.So friend, we are so glad that you are here! πŸ’«With love and blessings,Julie, Mr. Wise Owl and all of the good folk of Rowanthwaite.

πŸ¦‰Editor’s Note from Mr. Wise Owl:
"If your lantern flickers as you read,
do not mind it.
The village likes to underline things."

Friend, may Rowanthwaite open your heart like it did mine.πŸ’—

Where to wander next …

If you have not seen it yet, start here.
It tells the story of how I began... πŸ’Œ
… the scraps, the scrolls,
the late-night lanterns.
The quiet Presence
that refused to leave me alone.

πŸ—žοΈ The GazetteMr. Wise Owl insists on calling it essential reading, although between us, I think he simply likes seeing his name in print. If you enjoy a little news with your wanderings, the latest news is waiting on the counter for you.

You belong among the rowans and the quiet things.Follow the path, friend. It knows where to take you. We’ve been keeping the fire lit just for you.

Receive good news, blessings and good fortune! 🫢

Dearest, my soul has been building a place we want to live in, to linger, rest and stay.
